Our first After-School Globaloria Experience

Why is that technology is so wonderful....when it works?  Today was our first after-school Globaloria class.  The wiki was acting up and wouldn't let us create new accounts.  My computer was the only computer that could make accounts so I typed them quickly, requested the accounts, and accepted them all within minutes.  We had a horrific time logging into gmail and some students never got into their emails.  Some computers were on the blink, some keyboards were not working, some computers were frozen, and others were loading so slowly that patience was not an option.  I promise that this first experience is not the normal.  Technology always has its issues but none so terrible as we had today.  Hopefully the next class will be more of a positive experience and we will not have to spend so much time making it work.  I am looking forward to seeing all of you again and we are going to make game design history.
