As I Promised....My Christmas Village

After 5 hours of stapling material, rolling layers of snow, unpacking 42 houses, wiring 70 lights, and putting over 200 people in the village it is finally complete.  It is so amazing that each character seems to come to life in its own little part of the village.  The ice skaters are twirling at the skating rink, the firemen are prepared to put out the fire, the bakers are preparing Christmas goodies (one of them looks just like me), the schoolhouse is filled with students, and all of the houses are filled with excitement and wonders.  I started my collection 20 years ago with just one house, a railroad car, and a track that I made from toothpicks.  It is hard to believe how something can escalate so immensely.  May peace and holiday wishes come true for all  this holiday season..
